So screwed!!

Basically, every teacher in BC is on a strike against the government because of an unfair ruling. "Teachers throughout the province have voted 90.5% to take a stand against Bill 12. Teachers across the province voted by secret ballot in local general meetings held after school and in the evening on Tuesday and today. Turnout at the meetings was high, with many teachers expressing sadness, outrage, and frustration that they have been forced to take such a dramatic step to achieve their goals of improved learning conditions, restored bargaining rights, and a fair salary increase." This whole strike situation will probably last about 2-3 weeks and since its my final year of high school, missing that much school is not a good thing because of provincial exams. The teachers says that the government doesn't care about the students needs, but it sounds like the teachers are just using us to get more money. Bigger class sizes don't really matter much to me because about ten students tend to drop out of classes anyways. Well hopefully something will get resolved in a matter of just a week because a lil vacation can't hurt. LOL
