Blood + 1

Wow...what can I say? Well the introduction was really sweet with its fight scenes. I wonder who that girl was that was slashing all the soldiers in half...her eyes are what fascinated me the most. Gah what a creepy look! There was so much blood and gore...now I know why this anime is called Blood +. Next scene, there are two girls named Saya who was practicing high jump and her friend Kaori who was cheering her on. Haha when I saw Saya pull Kaori onto the mat, I was expecting some yuri action, but I guess I was wrong. Apparently the reason why she knocked over the bar was because she wasn’t at full strength since Saya was hungry.

Next, there are bomber jets flying over the school and for a second I thought they were going to bomb Saya and Kaori, because there were a couple of strange men watching them from a car. Kaori explains how the jets are going to go to war in Okinawa, and her mother is working on a base. After we get a little indication about Saya’s life, saying how she doesn’t remember what happened a year ago. Kai comes and picks her up, and takes her to the hospital where the sensei asks if any memories were returned to her. Sadly no.

After when she comes home, Saya realizes that she left her shoes at school, and goes to look for them. A strange man named David, comes and speaks to her father, well actually we find out that Saya is just a replacement for his dead daughter. When reaching the school, Saya finds a guy standing near the tree that she believed is where her shoes are. However once she reaches it, some strange man that she saw earlier playing the cello stops in front of her holding a knife. Obviously she starts screaming so a teacher comes out from his office, but once he is done checking the area a Chiropteran attacks and kills him. Saya ends up getting saved by the same creepy celloist, but is he a friend or a foe? If it wasn’t for his face, I swear he isn’t human because his hands are way too creepy. Well he sucks the blood from it and kisses Saya, as her mouth tastes the blood, memories began flooding back.

An amazing first episode, I feel bad for Saya because she has such a mysterious past, and the people around her seems to keep the truth away from her. As for the celloist, does anyone know if he is a friend of a foe? The animators don't really reveal much about him, except he is a creepy pedofile.

Blogging??

Hmm...I was wondering what would be a good fall series to blog? Well after reading KT Kore's awesome input on "Black Cat"...I decided to give the anime a try, but one problem...I hate how they don't really explain much to the series! It seems there are going to be a lot of mysteries waiting to be solved. Nevertheless it was a good anime, but I just don't know if I want to blog it or not. Maybe I will just watch the series a bit more to see how it goes, and if I love it then I will eventually blog it. However I won't start from the beginning...unless the second episode is captivating.

Another anime I was putting in consideration is "Gin-ban Kaleidoscop", but I don't know if any subbing groups are going to sub it. Also I hate waiting like 2 months to see one episode...and the talking ghost thing is a lil weird, if I do say so myself (LOL he's CANADIAN though)!!. Haha, but I do love sports anime, being an athlete myself.

Well if anyone has any suggestions on what a good anime there is to blog out there...please comment!

Haha...I just wanted to thank everyone in the blogging community because they welcomed me with open arms. I always wanted to blog anime ever since I discovered Moyism, Garten's, Omni's, Zyl, and Phoenix' blogs, but never got around in doing it. Thanks Zyl for the info on how to upload pics...haha if it wasn't for you I would still be sitting here just uploading pics for Suzuka. Also you were the first person to add me into your blogroll! Arigatou!!! Phoenix512 you were the second person to add me...and thank you for the shout out I truly appreciate it. I just hope people will actually visit this site! Pretty Scythe thanks for the recommendations on which anime to watch out for...I will definetly be waiting for your blog on Blood and Paradise Kiss since I don't think I have the time to watch it myself. Yakitate!! Japan 40

The Japan representatives managed to get stuck in a cave and the only way to get out is to swim 2-3 km in order to get help...and who volunteers to do it...of course Pierre onii san! One problem though HE’S A DEAD WEIGHT UNDER WATER because he never learned how to swim. Of course he tries to make up excuses such as "I can’t swim unless I get some food into me and it has to be made with fish!".

Well what do the Japanese reps do...make Ja-pan 22 with the gross fish that taste like goldfishes. So he tried to delay as much time as possible by making a code (104,877,443,673) with the word "Mamadoko"! Well of course since Azuma is a tensai...he figured it out in no time...with mental arithmetic on it in base 26. Grrr....this brings me back to logarithmic that I just finished with math. IT’S LOGARIFIC!! HAHA I HAVE A PUN TOO! Of course all copy rights for that word goes to Alex and Tiffany! Dude this is the result of too much math (Math + test =crazy)

With no choice Pierre dived into the pool...oh wait "OMG he can breathe under water!!....because he was making errors all the time, he can breathe now. "I’m breathing via errors!"Of course he swam to the surface in no time, however...with gills he couldn’t breathe above the water! YIKES how will he tell Sophie and Ryo now?? PROBLEM I think so!

Opinions
I believe Moyism is right in saying that all mothers and their kids should watch this anime because I absolutely adore it. The greatest parts were Pierre’s expression ...those made me laugh really hard! Also when reading Garten’s posts ...I HATE YUKINO! Haha I just want the animators to bring her back so I can swear at her...yea I know that makes me sound really weird, but what can I say she really has that effect on people!

Suzuka 14

Hmm...The episode begins where Yamato and Honoka were at the ending of the last episode. It was so cute hearing Yamato’s words when he said “ But I thought this girl that stood in front of me was really cuter than anyone in the world.” Seriously I was like “go for it Honoka-chan” Next we hear Yamato saying that he wants to become a couple with her and this was the icing on top. Elsewhere behind a bush, Miki couldn’t believe what she has just witnessed (must be shocking when you know that your best friend has a crush on Yamato-kun. I feel bad here when she was debating about telling Suzuka because she didn’t want to hurt her feelings. Well at that exact moment, behind the fence, Suzuka hears Yamato screaming with joy about the hot springs. Of course Miki at that point was speechless.


Well next day Suzuka asks Yamato if he wants to go shopping with her, and Hattori was telling him to go for it (little did he know about the night before). Well of course Yamato declines the offer, which is a good thing because then we know that he is loyal to Honoka. Suzuka wasn’t happy about getting rejected though, so she said “Fine, I’ll just go with Miki!” When down at the shopping center(I believe), Suzuka sees a yellow shirt and quotes that it would look good on Yamato. Miki can’t delay the news any longer in fear that Suzuka might look bad so she tells her about Yamato and Honoka. WOW seeing the expression on Suzuka’s face, I felt really bad.



At track and field practice, Honoka gives Yamato a hidden note saying she will meet him at the courtyard again after dinner. She started confessing to him about everything such as the shrine thing, and entrance exams. BAM here comes the news “because.....I really like you!” Fast forwarding we have Miki confronting Hattori, about Yamato’s relationship with Honoka. Basically they both care about their friends very much since they want them to be happy. What really got to me was when Hattori told her “Outsiders should just watch”.

When taking the train to go home, Yamato decides to buy the drinks somewhere else instead of buying it in the train. Well when he spots Suzuka he manages to drop all the drinks and so she helps him, but at that moment the doors closes so they are left behind.

I can't help, but feel sorry for Honoka and Suzuka. Since this anime is titled Suzuka I wonder if Honoka stands a chance with him...I don't know its too early to actually make assumptions since there are 12 more episodes left. It seems that Honoka is going to get hurt because of Yamato's indecisive behavior. Wow Hattori definetly deserves brownie points, I thought he would be the insensitive jerk when I first started watching this anime....but actually he is a really sweet guy that does care about Yamato. It seems Miki and Hattori would make an awesome couple because their personalities are quite similar. Anyone disagree??
